EcoPorts Foundation through its participation in various European projects, aims at becoming the focal point for the port sector in Europe for a bottom up approach in implementing best environmental practices. By doing so, good practice experiences will be assembled supporting the aim of EcoPorts Foundation to become a knowledge centre of environmental good practice experiences.

Ongoing Projects

Currently Ecoports Foundation is involved in the following projects:

- Environmental Review 2009
The objective is to establish a European benchmark of port environmental performance. (more)

- PEARL (2005-2008)
The objective of this project is the development of a Port Environmental Management System with the use of satellite information. (more)

EcoPorts Foundation works closely with the Ports to develop new ideas and initiate European cooperation projects. (more)
